Jessica has been working at Sport Clips for a couple of weeks now...and though I know it's not her "dream" job, she is doing so good! She has been working so hard. She hardly has any time for herself anymore. Between working a lot of hours, going to college FULL time and getting her service learning hours for one of her college courses done, cutting and coloring hair here at home for me and grandma and other nice people who call her (which she loves to do by the way, cuz that's what she would "rather do") and then also trying to help me out here at home when I'm at work, she has been a pretty busy little girly! I'm more thankful than she could ever know that she's my daughter! I LOVE HER!

MILEY

MILEY CYRUS CONCERT!

So, I took Jessica, Courtney and Brooklyn to the Miley concert on Friday night. We had so much fun! It was a good concert although a bit short (Miley sang for about an hour and 5 minutes only). She's still young and probably trying to preserve her vocal chords...but maybe could have sung for a bit longer?? Jessica and Courtney really enjoyed all of her songs and sang at the top of their lungs to ALL of her songs! Metro Station opened up and that was pretty funny for the crowd that was there. Won't even really comment on that. Miley put on a fun show, even flying over the crowd on a Red Harley at one point singing Joan Jett's I Love Rock and Roll!! Miley started her "Wonderworld Tour" show breaking out of an iceberg! All in all, we had a really fun night together!

Toro Golf

Tyler had his first 3 day golf tournament with the Mountain View golf team this last week. He did soooo awesome! He was on a 2 man team with his good friend, Mike Willett.

A Day Trip to Santa Barbara, California!

We went to the airport early in the morning and caught a flight over to Santa Barbara. We heard this was such a fun day trip for the Us Airways employees, so we thought...what the heck, why not! It was Chris, Me, Jessica, Courtney and Dillon (Tyler was at Lake Powell) Well, once we got over there we walked the mile over to the beach (which wasn't a very fun beach at all) and thought to ourselves, what are we doing here? There isn't much going on ...no-one to play with and no food! Well...there was some gross sandwiches (yuck)! Not sounding like too much fun yet, I know! So, after a couple of hours of just hanging around at the beach we walked the mile back to the airport, rented a car for 20 bucks and drove into town and found the real HOT SPOTS where there was more action happening! That's when the fun began! All in all, we ended up having a pretty fun day and it all turned out pretty good!

We sat so close to the fire works I actually got some ashes in my eye! OUCH!

I've never had the pieces from the fireworks actually landing on me before, but it was a really cool show and a fun concert! We even got to see the Jonas Bro's up really close before the concert started - just luck really!

even if it means 5:30 a.m.! Really?

The Anderson's in our ward invited us to go to the lake and they like to go really early, I understand that's when the water is good and everything, but seriously? That's when sleep is really good too!! But...we had a super fun time and we were super happy that we got to go! Especially since I got to get some great shots of Tyler landing his tantrum! Here is the video we made of that day! Super Duper FUN!

Backwards Snowbirds!

So, whoever decides that it's smart to come to Arizona from Montana during the month of June... has got to be out of their mind. I guess that shows how much they love us! It's always a treat to have Grandma and Grandpa Peralta come to visit. Since we hardly get to see them, it's fun to spend some quality time... plus we usually get some free meals :) While they were here, they got a wild hair and decided to buy a house! We're so excited that they will be able to spend more time here.

We all got together and went to Amazing Jake's! It's always fun to have Kyla with us too!

Taylor Swift

So...I'm so behind in this blogging world I don't know if it's even worth catching up.

But here goes. Short and sweet.

The Taylor Swift Concert...Mom, Jessica and Courtney got to go. BLAST! Awesome concert! She was so cute and put on such a great show.

From beginning to end, it was really entertaining!

We had really great seats and then in the middle of the show, she performed a couple of songs from the middle of the arena which was even closer to us! So I got this picture with her right behind Jessica and Courtney! She had the cutest outfits!

She had really cool stage sets. They changed with almost almost every song and it made it very interesting.

Jessica is one of her "numero uno" fan's...so this was such a fun experience and I'm so glad that we got to go see Taylor Swift in concert. But, truthfully, the most fun for me was watching how much fun Jessica and Courtney were having all night!

NEW YORK!

So, back at the beginning of May, Mom/Grandma took us on a FAB trip to New York City.

Here's some of the highlights from our trip!

In the "SUBWAY" all 15 of us! Schlepping ALL of our Luggage!!

Times Square the VERY first night! FEEL the Excitement!! I love taking new people to New York...and this time we had 5 new people there! Meagan, Paige, Haley, Mackenzie & Donna. I think they all loved it...even though it rained and rained and rained!

The "open air" Bus tour in the rain and of course JOE'S PIZZA in the village (we never miss Joe's), and we had to find the yummiest ever giant creme puff's that we all shared (promise)!

"Top of the Rock" more pouring rain!

We saw "The Little Mermaid" the Musical. We LOVED it! It was so awesome!

We got a "Limo" ride over to Serendipity 3! Our driver was James!

NEW YORK FOOD

We ate so much yummy food it's not even funny! Serendipity 3 has the absolute best desserts anywhere! and...you just have to go down to the lower east side for a Pastrami on Rye at KATZ'S FAMOUS DELICATESSEN, if you've never been? get there. It was in the movie "When Harry Met Sally" and by the way...get what she's having!

We had to make some "Gossip Girl" stops. The first was at Grand Central Station.

The over to the Palace Hotel...where Serena lives, of course we didn't find her there.

Then over the the "STEPS" at the MET.

A quick stop at central park for some "jogging" in our jeans and boots!

All in all...everywhere we went, I think people thought we were crazy! You just don't see so many cute girls running around together having so much fun all that often. We should definately do it more often to show everyone out there how it's done!! Thanks Mom/Grandma for an absolutely fantastic trip once again and all the memories that go with it!
