Fun Times...catching up!

We went with our friends, Kelli and Marci to the The Bon Jovi Concert at the new "Joint" at the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas!  We had SO much fun!  First we went out to dinner at this really yummy restaurant called the Strip Steak and then over to the Hard Rock for the Concert where it was a standing room only concert.  We didn't even get there very early, considering some people had been in line since early in the morning...no thank you!  We got there and went in and found us a primo spot with a rail we could lean on (we liked that, it gave us some s.p.a.c.e. and we like space) and got ready for Jon to come on out.  The "Joint" is a new venue and holds only about 4,000 people so compared to the 60,000 we're used to sharing him with it was pretty awesome!  He was not very far away, as you can see in the picture.  It was a super fun concert with super fun company.  Thanks for coming with us Robert's...we'll have to do it again!!

There He is RIGHT BEHIND US!!!

GOOD-BYE for now.  Until next time...
ok, whatever.  so i'm obsessed.

Dillon is 12

Dillon had his 12th birthday on Tuesday, April 28th and and well...I had to work and so did Dad, so we decided to have a big birthday breakfast!!  First we all woke up early and went up stairs and woke Dillon up with a birthday song for him and that early in the morning it's not a pretty thing.  Then dad fixed us all french toast, eggs, bacon and sausage.  It was a yummy breakfast and then for dinner that night Jessica, Tyler and Courtney took him to Chick-Fil-A

and Courtney gave him this awesome blanket that she "hand-made" for him!  He had a really great birthday party over the weekend at Amazing Jake's with a bunch of his friends.
I can't believe my baby is 12 years old!  He will be ordained a Deacon this Sunday, May 10th on Mother's Day!  What an honor for Mother's Day for me!  I'm so excited for him to receive the priesthood and to have another priesthood holder in our house.  I'm proud of you Dillon for the good choices you have made in your life and for the good boy that you are.  I love you so much!
