So, I needed to get to Utah to get my hair done...

and my kids could hardly stand it when I told them

about how much snow there was there,

so the whole family ended up in Utah for a

mini-vacation!  We had fun getting to see

Jessica and everyone got to see her lovely

little apartment and her school.

We all went to Brighton on Friday for some excellent

skiing/boarding conditions!  What a beautiful day!

Then home quick on Saturday morning...I said it was mini!

Tyler had such a fun time at Winter Formal. 

He went with a friend named Emily Christianson.

They met up at Glauser's house for pictures before 

heading out in Jim's super cool "charger"

that Tyler even got to drive for a bit that night!

Jessica's and Tyler's BIRTHDAYS!!!!!!

I CAN'T BELIEVE MY FIRST BORN IS 20!!!

When did I get old enough for that to happen?  Jessica has always been such a blessing in my life.  From the very first day, she has been so sweet and I love her so much.  She is a confident, beautiful, successful young woman.  I'm so proud of her for all of her accomplishments!

AND TYLER, WHO CAME JUST 3 SHORT YEARS AFTER!

Tyler is such a fun loving and active kid!  I can hardly keep up with him - in fact, I don't think I've seen Tyler on the slopes for the last couple of years, because I LITERALLY cannot keep up with him!  But no matter how active he is, he is always there to let me know he still loves me.  That's hard to get out of a teenager!!  He has finally grown taller than me and with those beautiful blue eyes, we really have to keep a close eye on the girls he's hanging around with - the one who catches him in the end will be soooo lucky!

Sorry, this post is so late - I wish I could say it's cuz I've been too busy...but it's just lazy.

Winter Wonderland!

We went up to Pinetop on the evening of Christmas, and this is what we found!

A WHITE CHRISTMAS!!

Most of our family went, besides Jack's family and my very smart mom and dad! There ended up being 25 people who went! We had a great time skiing in the most insane blizzard, almost got frost bite on our cheeks and noses, but hanging out all together at the cabin is the best part of all!

and warming up in the lodge, having some laughs and lunch!!

This was Emma and Alli's first time snowboarding! They did great and Dillon and Courtney had a blast helping them out in the afternoon!

Back out hitting the slopes with the Skousen crew!!!

The drive back to the cabin...notice the 10 foot wall of snow on the side of the road is taller than our car!! This is Kristen and Dave's Tahoe - all covered in snow. And the cabin again...with all the snow on the driveway! So much FUN!
