Christmas...2012

Christmas Eve was fun......we had our traditional Nativity.  We really need for some of the younger boys to get bigger so they can play the part of Joseph.  Until then...Dillon does a FAB job.
CHRISTMAS MORNING came and
As always...................Everyone was spoiled   :- )

But WHY NOT?

The Camacho's

Brother Camacho was the ward mission leader in one of the wards that Elder Johnson (Tyler) served in.  They became very good friends and they came up to Mesa to meet us!!

MISSIONARY STOCKING!

Last year at Christmas time I sent Elder Johnson
and his companion plain red stockings.
This year will be his last Christmas out,
so I wanted to send something extra special!
I made two of these "missionary" stockings...
one for Tyler and one for his companion.
And then filled them with lots of love and goodness from home❤

How to:
1.  Use .99 cent store plain Red stockings
2.  Get your outfits together.
I used kids size shirts from a local thrift store.
I had to obviously use 2 shirts, but only one pair pants.
I also purchased cheap belts there and found some old ties
my hubby didn't care that I used!  Let's hope!
3.  Make a name tag on your computer or write one out, if you so desire.
I used a text box and made the background black and the printing white.
Something new I learned.....yay for new skills!
4.  Cut everything to size with about 1/2 inch to 1 inch (i don't measure) extra
to tuck under and glue the whole thing together.
I used steam a seam tape and ironed it all together.  Worked great!

I am so happy with how well this turned out,
since I am not really the "crafty type".
I sure hope they love them as much as I do!
