Christmas 2010

"Christmas Eve"
Cameron learned...well sort of...to play the accordion!
After grandpa played his traditional songs, Cameron decided to give it a go.
Not bad for a first try!! Keep it up and you'll be a pro, just like grandpa!

The traditional, or maybe not so, Nativity.
With a bit of dancing included. Loved it!
Present opening, which gets CRAZY and oh so fun for everyone!
We LOVE our cousins!

"CHRISTMAS DAY"
Grandma Sandie came over for Christmas morning!
and...Jessica and Cameron spent the night for their
very first Christmas together!!
Christmas morning...ahhh the JOY!
starting off in the house...yes, there are a few "dings" that still need to be repaired in the walls!
hmmm, maybe a bit wobbly?
believe it or not...it only took a couple of days
for all of these guys to get this skill down.
They can all ride this unicycle very well now.
Just had to post these Christmas Day photos...they're funnier!
Well...the skateboard looks a bit easier than that unicycle, maybe?
and...finally, Cameron get's to ride HIS own skateboard!

Sometimes, it seems like dad's birthday comes
at such a crazy time it's hard to get a party in.
Well...who wants to forget to have a party for this guy?
NO MATTER HOW CRAZY THE WEEK?
Happy Birthday Dad!
(the cake says Topo...it's a nickname, cuz we love him)

Gotta get him some smelly stuff...so he always smells NICE!
And we ALWAYS have our traditional
Mint Chocolate Chip IceCream Cake!
WITHOUT FAIL!

CALLED TO SERVE

Tyler literally checked the mail everyday
for about a week! FINALLY...
the mail he was waiting for arrived.

I've never seen a happier face...ever.
He paced in the street, just holding it in his hands.
Then he started running in the street!
then, he came back to the box and set it up on top and just stared at it.
Tyler took it home and took it up to his bedroom. Alone.
He opened his call. I could hear him from downstairs.
All I could hear was "That's Nuts!" He sounded excited!!
I wasn't going to find out where he was going for another 2 hours.
Now I was nuts!
Then after Chris got home from work, we gathered as a
family and Tyler read his call to us. We were so excited for him.
He then planned to read it again for his grandparents, friends, and relatives later that evening, and let everyone take their best guess at where he might be going...no one got it right!
Couldn't be more proud of my boy!!
Hugs from proud grandpa and grandma!
Sisters who love Tyler very much!

Tyler's friend, Will, opened his call the same night. At our house.
Tyler's friends who came to hear where he was going!
